HAPPY TURKEY DAY TO ALL!

Heather and I made this turkey together as a project for school a couple weeks ago. We think it turned out pretty good. It's 3-D, although you may not be able to tell by this picture.

We are all thankful for each other and have taken the time today to tell each other what we are thankful for about each member of our family!

Tonsils

This is Heather when she had her tonsils out a couple of months ago. I just found out yesterday that Billy will need to have his out as well. Oh the joys of childhood! But we are trying to have it done now as opposed to when they're 21 like I did because that was painful!

And it has gone down at this particular gas station to $1.66 (with preferred card) since I took this picture. A little too close to the devil's # (you know, 666). Makes me wonder who was involved in this. . . don't you?

Heather's Friend

This is Hunter. He is Heather's "friend" who lives across the street. He is in her class, and apparently talks a lot. He has a trampoline in his back yard, so of course the kids are always at his house playing. He sometimes comes over on the weekends to our house to play guitar hero. His little brother's name is Trapper. (Hunter and Trapper - it was a debate between that or Fisher). They are great kids, very well behaved, and lots of fun!

We went around to friends' houses to show off costumes, then came back to our neighborhood to trick-or-treat. Billy unfortunately got too tired to go out when we got home, but he did get to trick-or treat down a friend's street. Everybody had a great time!

Ah yes, and the candy is almost gone already :)

Good morning

John came in my room this morning. Unfortunately it was when my alarm was going off, so I had to get up and get ready for work. That little sweetheart was disappointed that he did not get to snuggle with me! I gave him a great big hug and told him I'd snuggle with him tonight. I'm on call and I hope I don't get called back in early tonight. I think I'm going to do movie and popcorn snuggling with the kids tonight. I may even lay on the floor with them (newly found out beginnings of arthritis and all)!
